
The Mark Feingold Jazz Group has been playing jazz for years in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. The band, playing as a quintet, quartet or trio, prides itself in audience enjoyment, focusing on jazz standards, swing, blues, bop, ballads and bossa. The band has performed at a variety of events (including engagement parties, wedding receptions and corporate functions) and at restaurants, vineyards and other venues.

Bios

Mark Feingold (guitar) has played jazz guitar for many years, having studied guitar starting in the early 1970s. Mark has played in quartets, quintets, trios and duos in the greater Philadelphia area and in central New Jersey and at many venues and functions, including engagement parties, weddings, charity events and business receptions. Mark has run his current group for many years.

Vance Camisa (piano and vibraphone), who studied under John Coates, Sr., has played piano for many years. Vance has performed at numerous venues throughout Philadelphia, the Lehigh Valley and central New Jersey. Vance’s influences are Teddy Wilson, Nat “King” Cole, Red Garland, Oscar Peterson and John Lewis.

Ron Taglairino (saxophone) has been playing saxophone for over 20 years. He began studying under Eric Haltmeier, who inspired Ron to pursue a degree in Music Education at Elizabethtown College. After graduating, Ron studied with Philadelphia jazz saxophone legend Larry McKenna. Ron is also highly influenced by Sonny Stitt, Scott Hamilton, Eric Alexander, Hank Mobley, Dexter Gordon, Stan Getz and Harold Land. Outside of musical performances, Ron teaches full-time as a middle school band director.

Tom Littwin (bass) was raised in Trenton, NJ, and has been playing the bass since nine years old. Tom has studied with many great teachers, including Anthony Wellington, Gerald Veasley, and Orlando le Fleming. At the age of 12 Littwin was given the chance to study at Victor Wooten’s Bass Nature Camp. Littwin Later went on to receive a B.A. in Music from The College of New Jersey. Tom has worked with such notable artists as saxophonist Richie Cole, trumpeter Michael Ray (Kool and the Gang, Sun Ra Arkestra), and trombonist Clifford Adams (Kool and the Gang).

Jim Pepper (bass) plays jazz upright bass, having studied bass in college. Jim has played with many musicians in the greater Philadelphia area.

Guy Verrastro (drums) has been drumming and playing percussion since the early 1970s. Guy lives in Hunterdon County New Jersey and is active in the music scene, playing regularly in local jazz, blues and classic rock bands. Music versatility is a key trait to which Guy aspires, playing and listening to a wide variety of music. Guy frequently attends open mics to continue to push that versatilely and enhance his experience.
Backup Musicians

Omeed Nyman (saxophone) is a freelance musician and educator from Bucks County. He has performed at venues such as Carnegie Hall, The Kimmel Center, Disney World, Catalina’s Jazz Club, & Jazz at Lincoln Center. Omeed has also toured in China, Taiwan and Australia. Omeed is an avid multi instrumentalist, playing saxophone, trombone, trumpet, flute, clarinet and several other instruments. Omeed is a graduate of the Boyer College of Music at Temple University (‘23)

Michael Wolf (bass) has been active on the Tri-State music scene for over 50 years, playing in local clubs and musical theater. Currently playing electric bass/low brass for classic rock bands and upright bass with jazz groups, Mike is very pleased to be joining the Mark Feingold Jazz Group as backup bassist. When not on stage, he can usually be found at his day gig as a medical writer for a pharmaceutical company.
